With our 7,500-sq ft office/fabrication facility located in Shawnee, Kansas, we are able to meet your control needs with one phone call. Established in 1977, we provide quality SCADA systems to the water/wastewater, natural gas distribution and other industrial markets.
We have an excellent reputation for providing high caliber systems at an economical price. With our extensive experience, A. W. Schultz is Rockwell Automation Recognized System Integrator. We also are experienced providing various PLC hardware and platforms and maintain a full suite of software including; GE Fanuc, Siemens, Modicon and others.
Each of our senior engineers has over 15 years of experience providing control and telemetry systems. With most of our engineers having at least a ten-year tenure, we have a very dedicated, experienced, and stable workforce.

Maintenance Services Available for Hardware and Software
We have primary and backup support personnel who can be contacted 24/7. AWS keeps an adequate supply of inventory to meet emergency demands and/or scheduled maintenance. The inventory will be delivered within 24 hours.
We have the ability to perform remote diagnosis of the control system, HMI and PLCs when required. We can dial into your network through a secure access and diagnose most problems. Most problems are handled the same day. Diagnosis is performed on-site or in AWS’ service shop. We have in-house capability to do all programming, including PLC, HMI, and any other integration related programming (Visual basic, SQL database, Java, etc.) Our facility in Shawnee, Kansas includes a panel shop with fabrication and testing capabilities. Each engineer is capable of providing both hardware and software maintenance.
Water & Wastewater Systems
A.W. Schultz specializes in control of water and wastewater processes. Our team of engineers and technicians have collective experience in providing high quality SCADA systems with today’s technologies. We are able to assist in the design of your water or wastewater process control system and specifying proper instrumentation and analytical equipment. AWS will design, build, and commission your plant’s control system to your specifications and industry and technological standards. All of our ancillary services such as programming, panel building, telemetry design and install, and instrumentation specification and calibration are utilized in providing leading-edge SCADA systems.
Telemetry Systems
We can also offer a full range of services relating to the design and install of over-the-air communications systems. Whether installing a new telemetry system from scratch or replacing an existing, aging system, AWS is able to design and fully commission the system to maximize your performance and communications speeds. A.W. Calibration Services
We are proud to also offer a full range of instrument calibration services as well. No job is too small or large for our team of trained technicians. We will provide on-site calibration for anything including a single instrument up to an entire plant or facility of instruments.
